Why not get a 1/8 buggy brushless?

RC8, Losi 8ight 2.0, HoBao, Caster, all comes to mind.

I would get any of the buggy with the best parts support where you race in the end. Parts support is often the biggest deciding factor for me...

Both of the Losi cars the XX-4 & XXX-4 have a sealed belt system. the only thing I have EVER seen in my XXX-4's belt system is SUPER fine dust, and we're talking about such a small amount the only way to get it out it with a wet cloth. I can go 2-3 months without even touching my blet... and even longer if I really wanted, I just like to rebuild my cars every now and again.

b44 is a much durable car. it dont brake as easy first thing i broke on my losi xx4 was the front bulkhead and that was too easy by just cliping a tube on the track. after i went to the alumanum bulkhead the front c-hubs were the weak link. so unless you like repairing your car every time you run it go with the B44.

Maybe his local parts support is bad. Everyone knows you can be your own parts store...

Stay out of the pipes, otherwise you'll be fixing your car everytime you run it reguardless of who makes it.

Great choice!! Clean it up - put the Jesse Robbers set up from the XX4 forum on it and have some fun.

The car is surprising well balanced with a lipo, I came back from being away from the XX4 for 9 years. First lap on the track it was just as planted and comfortable to drive as it was all those years ago. For a 4wd car, it does give the driver confidence to drive. I was using a 8.5 and running as fast as B44's and Kyosho's - running with some factory sponsored guys as well.

Good Luck.
