The Jammin models are manufactured by Hong Nor & are distributed by OFNA

Hope not, won't be purchasing it then, 1 reason why I love this class so much is it's size and still be able to use 1/10 electronics :D
Don't see the point of the nitro one but nitro may catch on, when is the holiday season in america?

Hey all: This new jammin truck looks realy cool, but what class will it be legal to run in? From what i read it will be avalible in gas and electric with all wheel drive, but with the all wheel drive will it be allowed in either the gas or electric corr truck classes or will a new corr truck class be created for it? Thanks for the info :spidey:

Nope.

We've been throwing the idea for a 4WD SCT class around. We were starting to think an 8th scale buggy class with the AE SCT wheels and SCT style bodies. But if there's a cheaper route, say a 4WD electric already setup that way... I'd buy one. Then, once people see them in action, they'll spread.

Ya! It has to be turn key if you want it to take off big, altering cars into something else makes it to hard for the average guy to get involved. I dont think Jammin will be the one to make 4wd sc go big but at least there putting the option out there and if they sell hopefully the bigger 3 companies jump on and market the hell out of it! ;)

losifiend 08-04-2009 10:46 AM

If this thing is built over the CRT.5 it will defenilty be a winner.

The body looks a lot lik AEs bodies. I hope it isnt as thin.

Tim Bump, whom I understand is on the design team for this truck, said it is Hyper mini-e based in the other OFNA goes SC thread.

If you know someone there tell them to chime in on this and give us some more info! I want to see what it looks like with the body off, price and when will it be available? I emailed there info email and havnt heard back:(

This is a 1/10th scale car and it's cousin to the CRT.5, of parts are being prototyped and revised for a heavier car, but the fact that the CRT.5 was allready a stout car then it would only need revised parts for the SC style car like front and rear bumpers are now like your typical short course, wheels and tires which are new for our product line and the body and mounts to the car, sorry no off lid shots of yet but it will be definetly a fun car to drive, I keep rubbing on the car like a genie in a lamp.

dgdcustoms 08-04-2009 12:17 PM

How much longer will we have to wait to learn more about these new trucks comming out??? I cant wait its killing me:D

Thanks for the update! Dont rub it too much it might get bigger and grow into an 8th scale;)

Website says 6 new SCT models before the end of the year. So was it built to ROAR rules so it can run in the SCT class or is this another RTR basher type vehicle like the Losi?

dgdcustoms 08-04-2009 02:48 PM

Ya good question, so if theres 6 then what else don't we know about yet? SC10, Slash, SCRT10, Losi, and HPI. And do they meen 6 new ones or will there be six including whats already out?

dgdcustoms 08-04-2009 03:09 PM

I'm going to say that all of the branches of OFNA will come out with 2-each nitro and electric. and they will be all 4wd:cry:

6 new ones from Ofna/Jammin etc. A mini will be included in 1 of those 6

mutilatorman 08-04-2009 03:16 PM

I know they have a 1/10th jammin and hyper model, and a 1/8 hyper. So probably e and nitro versions of each.

Ah ha! That makes more sense obviously there not promoting other brands! HAHA! So its like a chevy and a gmc with a v6 or a v8 etc... All the same truck just pick your brand power plant;)

dgdcustoms 08-04-2009 03:24 PM

Why in the world a on road Corr truck? I dont think that will happen.

gfx 08-04-2009 04:39 PM

Cool!

I love JAMMIN' products.

The first item I bought from Jammin' Jay's line, was a 1/10 off-road Lamborghini truck body; that was back around 1992.

rcmark24 08-04-2009 06:36 PM

I'll stick with the SC10!

OG RC 10T 08-04-2009 07:10 PM

I know it says ofna, but what if it was associated based. Just thinking out loud. JConcepts worked with AE and had the BJ4, then out came the B44. So why couldnt AE come out with the SC10 and JConcepts builds an SC truck built off the SC10.

Its possible, though it was a flash in the pan, the J82 was a conversion for the T4, which is what the SC10 is based off of. The body, wheels and from what I can see, which isnt much, the tires look very similar.

Ya that would be cool but I think Jconcepts is alot more independent now. If you want to think way back associated started the first race trucks off a kit to add to the rc10 buggy kinda like the one in your avatar picture with the skinny front tires! I remember cause I was a broke kid barely keeping my rc10 on the track and wanted that kit soooooo bad!

markhat250 08-07-2009 03:54 PM

Maybe this has been covered already, but I thought I'de post this from another thread....

After reading closer on the Jammin' SCRT10, I have a feeling it is going to be ALOT more than just an SC10 with 4wd. I have a strong hunch that it is merely an extended chassis of the current CRT.5 with a SC body now. If this is the case, this car will be considered more 1/8 scale "construction/vibe" than 1/10 whimpy plastics. If that's the case, we may even be seeing 3S with some smaller type Neu motors in them.

Anyway you slice it.....I'm buying one the first day out!!
