We'll see today as I will be at WCRC tonight.
Any chance you could post a pic? I'm really curious to see what this looks like. Thx.

Yea, I run a 4.5 Redline & RS Pro in my Hyper, I just limit my runs to 10 minutes but temps are still fine (I use a fan on the motor and it helped). You will be fine in the Jammin.

It's really good (not as much low end punch), but am going to swap it out for the HV 4.5... I just want less stress on the motor. I went to order the HV the other day when I saw it on Nitrohouse and bam they sold out.

nitrohouse is getting them somewhere, my guess is from novak via special order. i think they discontinued them due to people running 4s in monster trucks and 1/8. they prob. got tired of all of them failing. with 4wd sc trucks on 2s they seem to be a great motor, they'll make a comeback. if there is money to be made they'll be back.

they have been discontinued for a while. nitrohouse has a deal with novak to sell them with there 10th scale sc trucks on 2s. and they are not to be used on 4s in heavy 1/8th scale buggys/trucks.

Yup, but Nitrohouse has a deal with Novak to keep getting them. There are two 5.5 HV's on Ebay right now if you want to go one turn up. It's 114.00 buy it now.

We will be bringing a 550 SC motor to market soon.

We are working on getting them produced.

Unfortunately it's not likely for about 1.5-2 months right at this point.

I have been testing a 4.5 version and can tell you it makes ridiculous power, though until customers get them into their hands thats all hear say.

Stay tuned!
