Just found a used 1 for $60 shipped. And I dont even own a truck yet
On a side note, there is someone selling one in the for sale section, but its the esc/motor combo. Dont know if he will split it up.

Nitrohouse has them back in stock...pretty good deal with the Novak 4.5 HV and Havok Pro ESC for 399.
Shipping is affordable too actually.
So...I will be picking mine up tomorrow...I'm officially on the bandwagon.
I apologize in advance for taking you guys out on the track.

Hooray for me, I found a place that had a Jammin SCRT10 in stock and it should be on my doorstep tomorrow
.
So what kind of specs are you running in your steering servos? Since this is a 4wd vehicle, I'm assuming the steering servo should have a bit more torque than is required for a 2wd short course truck?
I have a Hitec 965MG laying around that I was thinking of using. @6v it has a response time of .10 seconds, and 133oz of torque. Would this be sufficient? If not, I have an XP DS1313 in my SC10 that I may swap out for the Jammin. The DS1313 is a bit slower in response time at .13 seconds, but has 173oz of torque. I don't want to swap out the servos unless its necessary because I have my SC10 pretty well dialed the way I like it and I'm afraid making a servo change may throw off my set-up and/or driving.

Can anybody tell me what there setup is to get some turning out of this thing? I've been trying to achieve some off and on power steering but the car just keeps pushing alot. I've tried playing with front toe and even dremeled my diff case so i get full steering throws and changed diff fluids to 3 3 1, but it's just not where i want it to be. Anyone have a golden setup out there? I got steering all day with my sc10 and want to achieve the same with my SCRT10. Thanks in advance.

And that way you're steering will be able to keep up with mine. LOL

See ya at the track buddy!

Too late now, but if I was designing the SCRT I would have taken the existing nitro crt.5 chassis and just extended it, then used a plastic plate to fill in all the holes (like the AE RC8 conversion does....real clean looking).
This way, the SCRT could very easily be converted to nitro with crt.5 parts that are very abundent.
I think they are coming out with a nitro version, but this may have been easier. Anyhoo, just thought a nitro SCRT10 would be pretty cool with an .18 in it.
