STRC does not have one with the integrated body mount and I think by the thickness of his aluminum that would be one the one two fix the problem if he could design one with it integrated into the shock tower.

Only way to stop this is to keep off the lid, it's hard I know I am in the same boat as you. Broke my SNR's (they lasted the longest), bent my Elites first run (they bend back easy lol). My friend has the STRC fronts, they bent also. I have takes some hard hit on the lid with the SNR's and think they are the strongest, just get the thicker ones. :tire:

Yeah, I am so used to running 1/8 truggy that is much more forgiving. I just noticed my strc on the front is bent also. I was only using the snr body mounts in the rear, but I am going to try the entire tower this time.

Did you try the SNR 4mm one piece shock towers, not just the upper body mounts? They are more stout and would hold up better.

Super siked right now. Tower dropped off my new SCRT10! I took the electronics and tires/wheels out of my Slash to be put in this for now. Im going to be running the VXL motor with Sidewinder ESC and have Proline Split Sixes with Calibers. Ive read a whole bunch about the SCRT10 and cant wait to use this thing. I love my Slash 4x4, I just wanted to get something a tad different. From what I have read it seems like the SCRT10 is amazing out of the box in comparison. Cant wait to find out!

Oh and Im sure someone is going to say that my motor/esc combo isnt going to work. But A. I dont have 300 to drop on a new ESC/Motor and B. this combo has been extremely reliable/trusty on in my Slash 4x4 and eventually I will probably buy the Tekin system once its released or the new Castle system. Ive never had anything but bad luck from anything Novak I have bought so even though everyone seems to run the Balistic motor I think Im going to do something different. Cant wait to use this thing!

The VXL setup actually works really well. Enjoy.

Good news is most of the parts are the same as the CRT.5 so I am moving over a bunch of cnc parts (steering rack, spindles, c-hubs, wheel hex, etc). This also means replacement parts will be easy to get since the CRT.5 has been out for a while. Bad news (at least for me) is that the Battery will only hold a 2s lipo pack. I guess this is ok if you will be running a smaller brushless motor and 2s, but I want to use my Neu 1509 on 3s. I was running the Neu and 3s in my modded CRT.5 and it was a rocket and ran very cool, so I moved my custom carbon fiber battery tray over to the SCRT10 so I could use a 2s or 3s battery.

The Neu 1509 is slightly bigger than a castle 5700 motor.

My custom battery tray, uses the existing holes in the chassis.

Here is a Protek 2s and a Losi 3s all 5000mah. Only the 2s will fit in the stock tray. My Reedy 2s hardcase also fits in the stock tray.

where can I find a front bumper like that at??? The stock bumper on my jammin doesn't take too well for impacts.

New Jammin liking it so far.

Well I have yet to race my truck. Going to hit up Hemet Competition Raceway this Friday night for some shortcourse action.

Just did the TrackStar A-Arm Mod to it. Loving the truck and how it feels so far.

Running a MMPro with a 4100kv Neu Motor, Hitec 7940 Servo, and a Castle External BEC.

In this pic I still have the Novak motor that came with my truck but sold that piece of junk right away.

ESC Extension Wire

Since I am running a Castle External BEC. I made up this little Extension so that I don't have to unplug and plug in Red wire as needed.

Harness is about 0.625" in overall length and doesn't take up too much room or add clutter.

Anyone looking for a cheap roller in great shape or some spare parts to support their truck, I'm selling it all. If any of you guys want it I'll make a sweet price for everything.

I just ordered the one piece, I had been just using the body mounts.

New Layout for wires.

Used some tubing to route wires and keep them low to the CG.

Also flipped my New motor around to keep the wires that exit low to the chassis.
Had to cover the can since I ran it the other way in the Slash got the nice black finish all scratched up.

Now everything is nice and low to the chassis and clean
