Thanks for the replies. I've never used a plastic spur off road so its good to hear they're holding up.

Cheers

Any help?

NOT SURE IM RUNNING AN LRP X12 6.5 W/ AN 11T PINION. THAT FEELS LIKE ENOUGH. WERE RUNNING A TIGHT INDOOR TRACK, BUT EVEN ON A 1/8 TRACK IT SHOULD BE ENOUGH. 8.5 MAYBE A LITTLE SMALL, BUT IF YOU HAVE ONE ALREADY TOSS IT IN AND SEE. IT MIGHT WORK FINE.

So go post it in the for sale section. This is the SCRT10 thread, not the I've got an 1/8 scale for sale on ebay thread.

Default Novak 4.5 HV Question

For those of you using the Novak 4.5 hv with the Havok Pro ESC, hows it working out? Think this would be a worthwhile upgrade over the Velineon system?

Thanks

I'm running the Havoc Pro/4.5 HV setup in mine. I haven't run the truck much, only had it to the track twice and run a total of 6 packs through it. On the tight indoor track I've been running at I can run for over 15 minutes and the motor and speedo are barely warm. I don't know anything about the Velineon system so I can't hep you there. The SC class at this track has been all SC10's so far so I haven't raced it yet. The other indoor track in the area runs on carpet and only run spec slash trucks...Those onroad guys like having a bunch of rules so they can find away around them. We run open class, you can't cheat if there aren't any rules to break

Even though the ring gears are the same teeth (39) I think the Hyper may be thicker to enable it to reach the 10t pinion vs jammins 12t. Though I am not positive.
