i bought a xxxt cr roller from a friend last week and just purchased the rest of the stuff for it to get me going

bought the xxxt with billet front block assosciated ti turnbuckles and ti ball studs

just purchased off a main hobbies

tekin rs speed control
trinity team epic duo 13.5 motor roar spec
trinity ip 40 c hard case lipo battery 5000 mah

and i allready had my racers edge sure charge 2000 charger

i guess what im asking driving ability aside will this be a competitive setup for the stock truck class??

One concern -- you say "stock truck" -- that class (based on ROAR rules) would require a 17.5 brushless motor... 13.5 is considered "Super Stock"... Maybe your local track's rules are different????

Looks like a great setup. Your equipment will not be holding you back that is for sure. Now you just need the right tires for you track and a lot of practice!

+1 practice practice practice. You have some top of the line equipment there but its up to you to drive it! Remember its always faster to go through a turn slow instead of going in a turn flipping and waiting to get marshalled.

i can drive decently enought i raced rc religously from 1998 to 2003 but lost touch and now i am back in it actuaqlly i won the mod short course class this past weekent with a rtr sc10 and a castle sidewinder 5700
