Slash gone wild
#1

I took my EZrun 9T motor out of my F-103 and put it in my Slash with a 23T pinion and holy crap
It was stupid fast but I encountered a problem and I think someone with an EZrun system addressed it but to find it would be a bear. It runs like lightning for about 2 minutes then it quits. I turn it off and turn it back on and 2 more minutes of lightening then it quits again.... and so on. Isn't hot nor low on battery. Any ideas?

What kind of battery are you using? Its possible that the battery is simply dropping voltage underload which triggers the LVC.

I was using a 3200 Orion lipo race pack but it may have been dipping. I put it on the charger right after and it had 7.68v and 3.84 in each cell. That should have been good. I've had it go down to the cutoff voltage and not start up again but that was easy to diagnose.

I did drop the gear to 18T...same thing and yes I have an infrared thermometer and the motor measured about 120 and the ESC measured about 100-105 and the temp outside was about 99. Information posted here about the EZrun 9t motor is that is more like a 12t brushed motor.
