A Losi battery tray at about $11 shipped (eBay - search LOSA4461) would make your batteries a little safer than just strapped in. Those are NiMH Stick Packs they strapped into that conversion on the link. They won't catch on fire if they are abused like a charged-up LiPo. I said abused - as in if you roll the car at 50mph into a curb, the battery gets lose and punctures. Tray won't ensure against that either but with good velcro and a tray, far less chance of that. Just a warning.
The Zippy you mentioned in the other thread is fine - but is a soft-case. So, you should try to protect it a bit.

I'm recommending it, not selling it. I have one in my buggy and ordered one for my son. Here's a pic of my Losi battery tray in the buggy. That's a 3S1P in there, so a 4S1P or higher will be taller. In fact, this tray is perfect for those Zippy batteries which are 50mm wide. On the back is the MMM which is strapped onto the tail portion of the Losi Battery tray I gave you the part # for.

It is a hyper 7 right?
I will just cut the tail of the battery holder off and put the ESC on the other side so the weight will be even

The Pic there is the RC-Monster.com motor mount in a Hyper 9.5 conversion. The car was basically almost-new but I bought it as a near-complete Nitro roller by a guy who had run it indoors 4x. I added the electric conversion items. All the Hyper's have the same center diff bolt pattern, so the motor mount will go with 7 thru 9.5. Motor is a CC 2650. From the other side here, you can see the nice look of the mount.
