Wierd noise coming from spur and pinoin gear

well i have meshed it right and everything i even put the cover on it and it still makes a loud clicking noise my buddy has a slash and it runs really smooth u cant even hear it but mine has something wrong with it and idk if the drag brake can cause the problem but idk if u can plz help me

Could be a stripped spur tooth, or a bit of sand in the spur gear. I get sand in some of my spur gears almost daily.

Yeah. I get a clicking noise when I get a grain of sand in my spur gear. I always think the worst until I pull the cover off and see that it's just a grain of sand wedged between two spur gear teeth.
Your only option is tear it apart. You should be able to clearly see what is causing the noise. Could be anything in the gears, tranny, or differential.

You don't a have a small stick stuck between the arm and inside of the rear wheel?

All Slash spur gears wobble, it's not the spur, it's not the top shaft, it's the POS!!!! cast slipper clutch parts..nothing you can do about it!!!!!
