I would suggest upgrading the shocks to a nice set of big bores...the stocks ones that mine came with broke after hitting some big jumps. I got a set of odonnell shocks for 60 bucks from my local hobby shop and they work great. I replaced the steering servo as well to a hitec one with metal gears....the stock one's gears broke after a bad crash. Other than those two things the car has been great...and I put a whooping on almost all the nitro buggy's I race with at the track.

Stock tires are good for grass / rough terrain but wouldn't suggest them for racing on hard pack dirt tracks
