Talking The World's First Academy Short Course Truck?

One of our local racers built this first rate Academy based racing machine.

And - put it on the track for some real off road racing. This truck is no shelf sitter.

The truck was made by slicing two OEM Academy chassis in half (one longer than the other to add the length), then fusing them back together. Yes - it is.

Thanks for checking us out, and leaving comments.

From the link in the above original post:

"The truck started life as an Academy GV2-T stadium truck. The main chassis was extended 35mm to bring it to a wheel base of 325mm (roar spec is 320-335mm). It actually took 2 chassis to make the 1 piece I needed. The truck width is 293mm."
