You have to solder the Rx side and battery connector "opposite". The single male plug will have to go into a female plug on the opposite connector. I like my + battery wire to be a female plug. So, battery + would be soldered to the side where connector is female, - would be soldered to the side where the single male connector comes out. For the Rx connection, - would then have to be soldered to the side with female connector, and + to side with single male connector. It's best to solder them with the plugs connected so they don't melt/warp. Get the iron on then off as quickly as possible. You'll also need to solder an adapter so you can charge your battery.

You should listen to this guy, he has been in this hobby for a long time, and given a lot of really sound advice here on rctech! Incase you couldn't tell I was being sarcastic. The small DeaNS Plug is perfect for what you are doing.

Good Luck,

They are good for what your doing... The side that has the power comming from it make the unexposed side of female so you dont short the pack!
