Just saw something about their sct, the price seems very low compared to everything else, are they junk?

They aren't bad. They are only $120 rtr with a battery and a charger. That's pretty cheap no matter how they stack up. It comes with an aluminum chassis and chosk towers and is built just like an 1/8th scale buggy. I run their hobbywing brushless kit in my mini-t and it has way too much power and is pretty comparable to the mamba system. I like their products but most "serious sponsored" racers will turn away.

I kinda figured so, did a search but didn't find a whole lot, just wondering why nobody has been talkin about their sct with the new craze going on. It looks like they even copied the colors and paint design very close to the slash. I do like the 4wd though.

Are you familiar with Redcat racing? The exceed brand is the same thing.

For 149.99$ + ship you can get a Mini LST2 1/18th scale. Find something that costs under a buck and you can use coupon code DPPAN912 to save 12.50 on 150$ or higher.

Dual Motors, 2.4Ghz Spektrum DSM radio system.

But it's 1/18th scale. Nothing like a 1/10th CORR class. I have a couple of Exceed RCs and one is a TC that just blows the socks off my 4TEC. Not bad for junk and my 4TEC has fallen apart whereas my Exceed never has. So take it for what it's worth but keep your eyes on the "junk". They're making the big names a little nervous... and a little cheaper.

My mistake, I missed the SCT part. Was concentrating on the "cheap vehicle" part.

4TEC Nitro TC? I had one of those. It was one of the worst designed cars I ever saw. 3 Belts to stretch out and adjust.....and the location of the Rx battery was less than ideal.......my NTC3 accelerated faster and had more top end as well....some 70+ MPH

Thats cool and all, but the 4Tec is straight junk also. So the fact that your exceed hasn't "fallen apart" as fast as the 4tec has isn't saying much. They both suck, but which one sucks less?

I just found some photos of the Exceed SCT, and it does look like junk. Exposed pinion\spur gears. The nice soft metal these cars are known for. I bet you can flex the chassis back and forth with 2 hands.......

And I'm pretty sure it's prob the size of a 1/10th buggy\car....not the SC10\Slash sized chassis. It's also 4WD. SCT is RWD only right now.....

Wheelbase: 275 MM 10.8 inch.

SCT (Slash\Strike\SC10) is 335MM

Look at 1/8th scale buggy's. Do any of them have an enclosed spur? I know neither of mine do.
