Default Revo 2.5 to Erevo brushless conversion

Well i finally decided to jump the fence and give electric a shot.

I tried to post links and pictures but being that this is my first post the forum will not allow me to. I'm using the Erevo chassis. I will post pics of my junk as soon as the forum will let me.

I've ordered some lipos and a Mamba brushless set up.
The problem i'm having is that i run a JR XS3 radio with a rs300 reciever. The reciever does not fit in the stock traxxas Erevo reciever box.

I was thinking of using the tekno rc nitro revo reciever box(part# TKR1002R). I'm not sure if it will work.

Has anyone else had this dilema? What did you use to solve it?

I guess i better get on it then. Unfortunately for me i have some yard work i need to attend to before it gets to late. I've spent all day on youtube watching paint how to videos. Shows where my priorities lye.
