The MSRP is $599.99 from the www.modelrectifier.com website. These are in stock now. I'll be posting more detailed pictures in the next few minutes.

Assuming amainhobbies would carry the vehicle, you probably could do a comparison between what they sell either other 1/8 electrics for versus MSRP, or, maybe Academy vehicles to MSRP.

WOW! that thing is awsome. Alluminum goodies all around. If this buggy dilivers as expected it will put all others to shame by proving that you can diliver a quiality bruchless RTR for the price of a "race roller" with plastic pieces in key areas.

But what is this. Some kind of transmission? No center diff?

Eather way, the buggy looks awsome and you get some nice quality stuff for the price. You can bet I'll be picking one up as soon as my doctor releases me to go back to work....being on disability sucks!!

What is max voltage on that ESC?

There is a center diff. The ESC is a 120 amps, and will handle a 5 cell pack. It comes standard with 2 - 2S 25C 4000 ROAR approved packs, running as a 4S.

That looks like a 2WD electric tranny. I dont see a spur gear. Just trying to understand how it works

Awsome that it handles 5S as that is what I run on my truggy. It will be balls out insane but I'll just have to dial down the throttle end point.

How many turns in that 2600kv motor?

36mm or 40mm dia?

2 pole slotless?

How does gearing compare to the other buggies? We need to be able to answer questions.

Welcome to the party

I don't see why using the 2050kV motor would be "slower" or not yield the top speed you're looking for. The 2050kV motor would have more torque for faster take offs and with more torque, low kV motors can be geared for extreme speeds. It all has to do with the gearing. However, with that center tranny design, perhaps you're limited to what gearing is available and if so, the 2700kV would provide higher top speed. But a 2050kV would have more torque and be able to provide as high, if not higher, top speeds as long as it's geared for it.

Tekin-

The motor says 4465, so I assume that's 44mm diameter and 65mm long. It looks very much like a Hobbywing 4465SL motor, but the rear endcap looks to be pressed-in whereas the HW motor is held in via 3 screws around the perimeter. If it's the HW motor, it's a 2pole. Not sure how many slots as I've never opened one of the large HW motors. The smaller 3650-size HW motors are 2pole 3-slot. If it's anything like the HW 4465SL motor, it will be one seriously fast buggy on 4s with the front tires rarely touching the ground!

BTW, I would love to try out one of your T8 motors! They look amazing. Wish I had the funds for one. I have a couple of HW ESCs that can control sensored motors in sensored mode too. Argh, wish I had the money.

It's a 2700kv motor. The diameter is 45mm and the length is 63. I'll have to check with the manuafacturer to get the other specs on the motor.
I think it's a 2 pole, but I'll ask to be sure.

The car is geared at 10.1:1.

And thanks...it's great to be here.

It doesn't have the typical big spur gear you would expect to see. I posted a picture from the manual in a previous post that shows the gearbox arrangement. It is fast though, and making it a 5S would be insane fast.

I'll get all of that information from them and let you know.
