Default Wasp .26 in a Mugen MBX-4 XR buggy

I was wondering if anyone has used a non-pullstart Wasp .26 in an 1/8 scale buggy. I just race locally and found that my LHS has them for $135 and thought that would be a good alternative while my RB C4 piston and sleeve are sent away to get resized. I just wanna know how it will hold up against all the expensive engines on a tight technical track

get the OFNA RACE engine...cheap and fast. I've been running it in my X5 ever since I bought the kit.

buy it at Ultimate for $149.99

too late, i answered my own question. I went ahead and got the team orion wasp .26 and installed it. All i had in my clutchbell collection was a 17 tooth for my savage so i said what the hell the engine has massive torque so the top end can be fixed with the larger bell. MAN, this thing screamed down the straight and pull quickly out of turns. I am impressed that I was able to keep up with RB's and other $300 engines

Do you run at Revelation. I just ran across a XTM Xterminator and was wondering how the program is over there?

What tires work well at Revelation Raceway if you race 1/8th scale buggy over there. Thanks

offroad is going strong, not quite as huge as Hemet (I heard Saturday night there was over 130 entries) but revelation is 5 mins from my house so i'll stick with that. Tires or choice for revelation are prolly proline crimefighters or something of that nature. the track always has a loamy surface so traction is really good
