Default Best ESC and Motor Combo for My Rustler XVL to reach 60mph (using novak set up)

Wats the Best ESC and Motor Combo for My Rustler XVL to reach a minimum of 60mph and without getting the motor to hot for a full run. Also trying to make sure I can have some headroom on the gearing so I
can go a little faster If I need to.

Yup the vxl is very fast on a 3s and surprisingly stays cool if you are geared right. I would say on 3s to run a 86t spur and 26-27t pinion for that kind of speed.

+1 I run 22/86, 3s- 5250 in my VXL Pede and it flies. Afraid to go 25,26-86; yikes!

You sure about using a 3S on the GTB and a velociti R? Novak says their only for 2S. One of the reasons I wanted to upgrade was because the motor already gets hot on the 2S set up when I try to push it past 50.
