Default mt12 question

guys, i am in urgent need of some advice. i have purchased a xxx-nt with an mt-12. the orings and gaskets are all worn out, but, he says he could put an os carb on it for me. he emailed today and said that the os carb does not fit. i have seen a product by hardcore racing, and it is the "OS carb adapter MT12" will this work with ANY os carb? thanks

Yes it will work. The mt-12 is a better engine with an os carb installed.

The adapter will work with a carb from any side exhaust smallblock from OS(.12 CV, .12 CVR, .15 CV, .15 CVR). From what I understand, the .12TR's carb has a wider neck, which means it won't fit the adapter, but it's not wide enough to be a direct fit in the MT12(though I can't confirm or deny that...I don't have a .12TR or a carb from one...I use a 10ER on my MT12). The most common carbs used with the MT12 are the 10E and 10ER.
