vented clutch bell. yes? no?
i just read an article saying that grinding vents in your clutch bell helps to cool off the clutch, helps improve acceleration, and its really worth it. would grinding slits in the top of the bell near the gear be too dangerous to try??

I use the Robinson Vented flywheel on my T-Maxx. I seriously doubt you need to worry about debris getting into the clutchbell while it is whipping around at 10,000-30,000 RPM. I have never had an issue. Speaking of though, today Racer's Edge announced new vented clutch bells.
