Programming in my new Brushless Esc
I am programming in my new, never used Castle Creations Mamba max Brushless system and I am stuck at these 2 steps
1.After a few seconds you'll hear multiple tones and the red LED will come on.(that worked)
2.Now hold full brake and after a few seconds you'll hear multiple tones and the yellow LED will come on.(that worked)
3.Now relax to neutral and after a few seconds you'll hear multiple tones and ALL the LEDs will light up.(that didn't work)
4.A few seconds later the ESC will arm with a double tone and you're ready to go!(that didn't work)
Someone who has experience with programming in this model please help.
Thanks, Sling

Use the USB cable.. If you don't have one, then follow the instructions for programming with the controller, it takes a couple of times to get it right, just make sure you're on the right step. Again.. using the USB cable (any USB cable works with the MM) it'll be much easier to program.

not sure if it matters but center your throttle trim when you program it if it isn't already..

I went throgh this recently myself.
Here's the issue I found. Set your transmitter to full sweep on the Throttle and Brake (ie. on a XS3 - 125% throttle/125% brake).
Then, do this.
1) disconnect battery from ESC
2) Turn off ESC switch
3) Turn on TX
4) While holding full throttle on transmitter.
5) Turn on ESC Switch
6) You will get green light blinking. continue holding throttle.
7) Tones will sound
8) Hold full brake
9) Tones will sound
10) Neutral on TX
11) Tones will sound
12) Arming tones will sound

If that doesn't work, increase your 'neutral width' setting before you try to calibrate. If it's zero or close to it, there may be enough interference that the esc can't get a constant neutral tone.
