Just switched to Lipo and was wondering if the LRP comp speed controls regulate the power that goes to the receiver and steering servo to a normal 6v? Just want to make sure so i don't ruin a servo

The speedo gives a constant 6 volts to the receiver which in turn gives the servo 6 volts. The only way to that it will send more power is if you run an external BEC. The speedo prioritizes the receiver over the motor most if not all the time. Only time that it does not is when the motor draws too many amps for the battery to supply.
