Default SC10 custom batt strap LMK what u think

Here is a prototype strap i made to relocate the battery on the SC10's, the real piece will be made of G10 and also carbon fiber. This one will be used as the template.

Looks fine.. hopefully you're not going to spam it every day and try to charge others $20 for one.

Very nice piece.
Probably be doin a bunch of people a favor if they could get one from you, lots of em don't wanna hassle settin up for just one part.

You would however have to hear the same guy cryin bout your part bein available, uh, spammed.
Even though not 1 of the dozens of pleased buyers would ever have anything but positive things to say about how you saved them the trouble of makin the part.

This guy only wishes he had an idea that would help us out and make him a couple bucks at the same time.

He'll just have to be happy sittin back pissin and moanin then clickin on the "rolls eyes" icon after his own helpful posts. Thanks anyway.

No problems with the stock one it just doesnt allow the battery to slide all the way back against the shock tower. Weight placement can affect the trucks handling. The farther the weight is back the better the traction will be on dusty loamy tracks. It's just another item to better tune your SC10.

Ok ...cool man. I understand now...I put weight back there instead of sliding the battery back there...Im using it in its stock position for the weight up front to help the transitioning for turning...Tha battery strap looks cool, I was just wondering...thanks

My thought was: more weight = slower truck. We run 17.5's in West Michigan
Less Weight = Go Fasta
That was my reason. I have Goosebumps all the way around and way too much steering and not enough Rear Bite. Works Great now.
