trx....looks good. it looks a little wide in the middle, is there enough room for LIPO battery connectors that are usually located on the top ??
hey, if racers want to buy em', sell em'. if they turn out nice, i'll take one.....racers suppoting racers !!
i simply dremeled the inside of the stock one and can adjust my battery position in the battery bay fwd. or to the back as needed.

The actually width is the same as a factory team B4 strap thats what i used for a basis.

First one done more to follow.
Here is the first one, I am not sure what to reccomend you guys using to take up the difference in the rear standoff but i used some AE FT shock bushings p/n ASC1780 as they are the perfect height and you can double stud them on both ends. I would like to find some fat aluminum tube that i could cut and tap to 4-40 but for now i am using those.

Your attatchment is spot on.
trx, that looks nice. gonna be great for those who like their battery moved back.
I still prefer my battery forward tho. Just works for me.

so far after a lot of work i'm pretty happy with the set-up. racing on loamy, inconsistent outdoor tracks here. the closest indoor clay is 150 mi. (one way) in sac.....cap city rc center. we'll see what changes i need to make.
when i race in so-cal with so many good drivers, i have little expectations against regulars at their home track. it doesnt matter to me where i finish, just to know i drove my best and have fun is enough for me.

cuda, thx for the word on wed's. that'll work.
i'll make sure i get there when they open so i can get some practice in. its hard to do on a weekend when its real busy. lookin foreward to it !!
gonna run some 2wd buggy too. then some nitro on the weekend somewhere.
