Slash 10.5 gearing

I looked in the Slash thread and couldn't find any info on gearing for a Slash on a 7.4 2S lipo with a brushless 10.5. Anybody running this???

Man its been I while, but I think I was using around 20, may want to try it out and see if speed/temps are within your expectations. Our track was pretty small/tight so top end was not a big concern.

I was using a 22 tooth pinion with the stock spur gear using an LRP 10.5. Motor temps were around 140 degrees.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna start at 20t and go from there. Just didn't want to be way off and spend my time during practice chasing temps and gear changes.

I've pretty much only used a 10.5 in my SLASH. I've only used a 22 pinion.

I Just put a Losi 4800kv setup in mine (around a 9.5T equivalent) and started with the stock pinion (18t?) Think I should go up to a 20-21T? The thing has really good acceleration & top end too.....
