Default Losi XXX-T Gear Grinding

Hi folks,
I bought a used XXX-T and have been running it for a while now. As of recent, I get a grinding noise when I run it. When I hold it up in the air, all is well. But as soon as I put it on the ground, it starts grinding away. I've changed the spur gear (84) and the pinion (17-20) with no luck. Think it is something in the transmission? When I took the tranny apart, the middle gear had a saw like pattern on it (like the teeth were bent forward). I really have no idea because the grinding sounds like it's coming from the spur/pinion combo. I've also moved the pinion closer or farther away from the spur. Any help would be great.
Thanks a lot.

You probably need to change the two plastic gears in the transmission.

Like Chris say's... While your at it rebuild the Diff. and make sure you replace the thrust bearing with the HD one. If your not sure how to do it have someone that has rebuilt the trany a few times. Good luck!
