Default B44 spur gear replacement

whats the fastest way to swap the B44 spur? From the looks of it, the quickest way is removing the rear end and going at it that way.. opinions?

Or just remove the 4 screws that hold down the spur gear cap and pull the entire slipped assembly out as one peice???

It takes some time to get everything to drop in correctly. I try to get everything lined up with the axle pins with the spur gear/slipper assembly and it should drop in quicker.

Try flipping the car upside-down. It works, gets the CVAs to a point where you can slide it in.

I've used tweezers to grab the center CVA shafts to feed them into the drive cups of the slipper/spur assembly.

Same here, i use a 90* hook and grab the front CVD first angling the assy down a touch towards the front then hook the rear and line up the pin and drop/ slip into the rear cup.
