Default 1/8 scale buggy rims on rear of 1/10 truck? Possible?

I think the title says it all... in the middle of a project, but have no money to experiment!

No it's not possible without machining some special adapters.

those dont look too hard to make... just some aluminum hex stock... then use the lathe to round out the middle, drill a hole, basically countersink it, and add the slot!

Probably would rather buy the new era pieces...
