If I see this body at my hobby shop. I'm getting it. I'll even try and see if I can run it in a slash spec class. If not, I'll still use it. It's just too cool not to run.

mine is on backorder through the local shop.... ill be running 2.2 badlands with an aluminum wrap up rear skid and a trimmed down front bumper so it looks more like the real bumpers they use with the class 5s.... gonna be sweet, i race enough classes the slash jsut became the basher bug...

Nice work, it's a real pain to get the wheel openings cut out isn't it!

In some ways, the old series' were better than what we have now.

I can see buying one of these bodies as something different to run once in a while.
I grew up 7 miles away from that track. Lots of good racing there. I remember there being quite a few 5-1600s out there way back when. I got a program from the race in 1991. It's got Scott Taylor's and quite a few other driver's autographs.

Anyway I really like that new Baja Bug body. Good to see some variety for the short course racers.

Most likely both. I wanted to head out to Crandon this today but since today is father's day it was difficult to find any of my friends that had the time off to go.

I'll be in BR for both as well. July will be the adults race - I have a crew coming into town and we'll whoop er up. August, I'll take my son.

Any idea if they will offer racing like Crandon did this year?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I don't know if Traxxas runs those races with their own personnel or if they get a local hobby shop's/track's personnel to do it for them.

I know there is a track/hobby shop in Iron Mountain and a small hobby shop in Powers. Maybe they'd have them do it for them if they aren't doing it themselves.

Also if you look on Traxxas' website I'm sure that they would have more relevant info there.
