Ced RC

Is it possible to use two ESC's and two motors without creating problems with matched motor rpm's etc? I'm concerned about one ESC damaging the other etc. If this were my truck I would go with the Mamba Monster and one beefy motor but this is actually my friends truck and he is having problems with the setup, asked me to help with the radio setup running the second ESC off of the AUX channel.

Any thoughts?
