When I found out that they were coming out with a re-realese... I heard a whisper from god... then a huge jult... then the ground started to opened up and while I was there I heard a really deep voice coming from the opening in the earth and it said....buy it for a runner! (Well maybe not all that but it sounded cool and scary huh? )

Now that parts will come out I could also restore my Tamiya Sand Scorcher

How many of us old timers have imagined ourselves as that little guy in the driver's seat when we saw this as a kid? This is VERY cool...


I heard a rumor that AE lost the original mold for the RC10... I hope it's just a rumor. AE could totally cash in on kitting some classic stuff... I wouldn't mind their parts support to restore my RC10CE to its original glory... Right now, it's a crazy frankenstein...

I love all things Tamiya, the nostalgic value in each of these re-releases outweighs the cost of these re-re kits!!!

I have an all original Rough Rider and it's new built(Professionally sprayed) It's ok though,the value of the originals should not be affected...I will DEFINITELY invest in a Sand Schorcher for sure!!!!!!!

Just finished building and painting my Buggy Champ:





Chassis wise, it is very close to my old Sand Scorcher. The main difference is the screw that hold down the lid to the radio box - they are hex head instead of slot head screws.
