is the diff gear the same size? i think with the associated vehicles it works. i know a few people who have tried it and have had decent results on the track from the gear diff. but for now maybe it would be wise to build your diff for your losi good and keep it maintained correctly.

Thanks,
Haven't done it yet but will this summer. It should be a drop in on any xxx chassis.
If you have a MF2 or BK2 you'd have to buy some parts though.....
i.e.
pivot plate
pivot block

Come on no body the least bit curious.
XXXT worked GreaT also just put one in my CR Buggy. No track time yet but i do expect the same results running 1000wt Losi silicone diff fluid no leaks.
Seems quicker then usual in the drive much more punch can't wait to get it on the track.

I have been running a gear diff in my buggy for awhile now and it works great! I think it opens up a whole bunch of new doors for tunning threw the diff. You can run different weight fluids in it to get different effects!

I'm about to switch to gear diffs in my evaders. I'm sick of building and rebuilding ball diffs only to have them not perform to my liking.

Tricked.
What do you find to be the best setup in your GEAR DIFF.

I have been using about 5-6 drops of 1000wt gear oil and it seem like my car has never turned better! I know of another guy who has used wd40 and has said the same thing. I think the ticket is to not over fill it.

What's best is all going to depend on what your driving style is and what type of surface you run on. A lighter oil is going to allow for more diff slippage (basically the same as a loose ball diff) while some heavier oil will react more like a tightened ball diff. This is all assuming that the diff will hold whatever type of fluid you put into it.

That's perfect i set both the BGY and TRK up with 1000WT about half full wit a little ASE clear silicone lube in the mesh.
No track time yet hope it works.
