Default Which 13.5 brushless?

It's time for a new motor and am looking for some input. I have always run a Novak 13.5 but now there are many other options. Tekin, LRP, Orion and I am sure some more. I am using a LRP comp. sphere ESC so the question is which to get and why? Well I notice any difference between brands?

Thanks in advance for the input.

If I was you, I would wait for the new Novak Ballistic 13.5 motor. It has adjustable timing, sensor harness is on the side of the endbell, and you can replace the stators if they wear out, so the entire thing is rebuildable.

but who knows when that will happen. novak makes a great motor. trinity based brushless motors are torque monsters too.

Why do they rock? Are they faster? or have more torque?

I've been very happy with my LRP 13.5 in my E-Jato... It easilly keeps up with the Novak 13.5s on the local track, even though it's got like 3lbs of extra weight

The Vector X-11 Stock Spec 13.5 motor is the one you want. The Eraser is a beginner motor like Novak's Havoc series.

Novak's Havoc Spec systems include Novak's ROAR-approved spec motors, the SS Pros. These are spec racing motors with sintered rotors. The Havoc Sport system includes the 8.5 motor, ROAR-approved for mod racing.

Our discontinued EX motors had bonded rotors, but we no longer offer any motors with bonded rotors. The old EX motors were never marketed as racing motors.
