Default Traxxas VXL 4wd Slash

I see Traxxas is coming out with a 4wd VXL powered 1/16th Slash. Could this be a counter offer to the AE 2wd CORR truck ? Interesting, new class coming ??

I didnt know Associated had a 1/16 Corr. The SC10 is direct competition for the Slash, but I thought the Slayerslash was just for fun....
Lets watch what happens, I agree interesting things are happening.

judging by the size the new 1/16 slash will fall more along the lines of a 1/10th scale. seems like it will be closer to it than a standard slash.

HUH? the 1/16th 4WD is way small. I wouldn't think its even close to 10th

The 1/16th Slash is just a big 1/16th scale, just how the Revo is listed as a 1/10 when that is a pretty big 1/10th. I agree that its quite a bit bigger then the 1/18th Desert Truck. I would put the 4wd Slash into like a 1/15th scale or even 1/14th just like how I would put the fullsize REVO into the 1/8th. Maybe they couldn't get smaller still using the normal Revo's design and holding up to the abuse.
