Drew Moller and Rhonda Skelton weer running Tekno Mugen MBX6 prototypes. Unfortunately, Rhonda had suspension problems in the first A Main but finished 5th in the second, and Drew finished 8th in the first A Main but had suspension problems in the second A Main Big thanks to both of them for their enthusiasm and time this weekend.

Zac Burnside, Ryan Hughes, Tekno RC, and Randy Pike (Tekin) were running Tekno V3 Losi 2.0's to beat out a couple of the pros...

We had a great time and are excited how many entries there were. Tekno V3 chassis' represented about 20% of the entries (2 Mugen, 4 Losi, and 1 HB). The class will continue to grow and we are excited for the next event this year -> JBRL round 1. See you there.

Both Rhonda and Drew qualified faster with their electrics than with their nitro cars this weekend. I believe a lot of the pros did the same, Cody King was on fire with his electric, but don't know for sure about the comparison. I didn't check on the rest of the field, but the qualifying results should be available on liverc.

Any reason why they didn't have a bump to the A?

Also, I'm curious to know what everyone ran for motor/esc/lipos... for example in the A2, Drake dropped out with a couple minutes left with an "electric" issue and I wondered what happened

Default bump

Jesse Robbers bumped to the A from the B.
Hey Dustin did you get my pm a couple of weeks ago?
There are going to be 8-10 electric 1/8 scales at P-Hill for the first round of the pro series you gonna come.

There was 1 bump from the C to the B and one from the B to the A.

People were running all kinds of different stuff. Castle, Tekin, Orion, Losi, etc.

We ran Castle MMM on 4 and 6s (PolyRC, FullyMax) with Tekno Lektron motors, clutch and mechanical brakes. Obviously Randy ran a Tekin system in his Tekno V3 . He went direct drive with mechanical brakes. The new Tekin setup looks sweet, but we couldn't get our hands on them before this race to test them out.

Drew and Rhonda were running 4s, MMM, PolyRC, and Tekno Lektron 2200kv motors with clutch and mechanical brakes.

Thanks. I take it the MMM worked good for your crew all weekend? The Tekin does look pretty cool. I like the solder tabs on the motor.

We had no problems with our setups. The 6s systems were running 190-210mah/minute, the 4s were running ~290-310mah minute. The batteries, motors, ESC's, and cars did well all weekend. Moller's pit crew reported a high temp of 130 on the new Lektron 2200 sqaure can. We didn't temp anything on our own cars (Zac, Ryan, Tekno) but we were able to hold our hand on the motors on the way back to the pits. The only casualty from our group was a busted front shock (mine of course).

We ran a 1500kv Tekno Lektron and a Tekno Neu 1512/3.5D/Q (1500kv, square can) for the 6s setups.

LOL!! That track looked like it had some huge jumps so it would have been a good test of durability.
