Is that normal?

I put GT2 hubs to get room for CVDs.

I am using the FT Aluminum 1.5 degree hubs.

The T nut should suck in there and sit bottomed out in the outdrive slot leaving the proper room needed....something sounds goofy man.
gr

agree, you have an issue somewhere....

I have built a few of these now and love how they handle. It is about 1/3 lighter than the regular ft chassy. It seems to be more planted on the ground with the same setup that i ahve on my reg ft set up. Fit and finish was fantastic and it went together very easy, no modifying or adjusting anything.

And to the poster above try the .5 degree b44 hubs. Since i switched to those i have planted in the rear.

I put it together exactly like the book said. There is no way that t nut is going to suck in as much as the other side. The t nut itself is about a 1/4" long plus you have the spring under that.

When using the FT blue anodized rear hubs, do you use the A blocks or B blocks?

Thanks

Yes it will you may or may not need to switch the t plate to make it work. Some will some wont depending on how old or new of model you have.

Make sure the diff screw and thrust bearing assembly is in the correct diff half. Consult the instruction book for correct assembly.
