Sweet. I just got home with mine. The assembly begins. Time to see if it can make race time tomorrow evening (yes I have to work tomorrow).

Funny enough, I've never had to build a car before...I've always bought rollers and was more into racing rather than the "hobby" aspect.

My kit will be here Friday. I own a B4, and had a T4, so I'm sure I can handle putting this thing together, long as I take my time eh?

I just don't want to put this entire thing together and get pissed because something broke because I didn't assemble correctly.

Also, I'm going to run either a 10.5 or 13.5 brushless with a 2 cell lipo in this truck. What is a good suggested gearing with it? I know it comes with a 75 and 87t spur gear in the kit. I dont need anything stupid fast, just something that is enough to keep on the truck and clear some doubles.

75/20 with the 10.5 and 75/23 with the 13.5 is a good starting point. Keep the heat below 150 if you can.

What do yall typically use to measure temps? A Flashpoint? I have a 23t pinion. But you know what I mean? Just fast enough to hang, and that's it. I dont want the fastest truck on the track. I just want something that has a little juice on it to do just enough and not be spinning out all over the track.

The tires and wheels in the kit do NOT come with the tires pre-mounted correct?

There are Black KMC Wheels available as options.

9808 SC10 KMC Wheel Rear (black)

The kit doesn't come with the KMC sponsor decals?

You have to glue the tires to the wheels.
