Ive owned a hyper 7 pro for awile now and I am selling it now to buy a mayhem! I drove one the other day and the two dont even compare! The mayhem can turn on a dime! Jumps really well and I even have talked with a guy that is sponsered by horizon hobby an JR and he has had the prototype for awile and still havent broke anything, so yes it is very durable too! I also picked up a Swift too just to test it out, looks nice but Ill have to wait and see how it handles. Ill let you guys know.
My hyper 7 pro is up for sale too if anyone is interested. Brand new O.S. rg .21, synthesized reciever, hitec 5945 steering servo. awesome shape. asking 450

I sold my tmax, well tomorow i am to local friend, have some extra money towards new buggy, what you guys think of the inferno 7.5 sport rtr, 450$, how is that motor on there, how does it handle compare lets say to a LX comp, hmm i know it has smaller motor then the LX comp, and its about 130$ more dollars then the LX comp, no idea where the real difference is. My budget is around 600-650$, with motor and everything, not sure what i should get, seperate motor and cheaper buggy or ready to roll fast one.

i think i would recommmend either what warpig says with the hyper 7 or go with the 7.5

there are many different styles of hyper 7 rtr and all are pretty good and the 7.5 is also on the right track

my belief is that finding parts for the far less common LX could be troublesome and i dont think the quality is as good either

for rtr buggys its hard to beat a hyper 7

but you may also wanna consider a mayhem i know more than 1 happy mayhem owner

the LX is an old outdated buggy that ofna is attempting to make a comeback but for what reason i dont know

How do you know so much about ready to run stuff. Is there no question you can't answer.

2 things 1- why would you want a 2 speed? what type of track needs a 2 speed

2- if the mbx-5 is so old and outdated why did it just win the worlds

btw im getin the pcr for 489$, is that a decent deal ? local store has one. Just wondering if i should pick up upgraded steering servo, i hear most buggies come with realy shity servos stock. I dont think the buggy needs a better pipe, looks good to me, unles i can gain some more power by some other pipe you guys recomend ?
thanks guys

TW i dont know but i stayed at a holiday inn express while i was on vacation

and had nothing to do at the beach but read r/c car magazines

not to mention i took a beating by lil vince and a hyper 7 pbs last summer

a high torque steering servo is always a good idea turbo and upgrading pipe isnt necessary in fact it has probably been somewhat matched to the included engine for what yeilded the best results already

$489 sound OK to me i spent that much on just a rolling chassis
