It's cool to see that the Swift is doing well, even in expert, but with Steve-E driving, any car you give him is pretty much guaranteed to do well. You take a look at the front bumper on it? Looks like you could plow snow with that thing. Though, just goes to show ya...it's the driver, not the buggy(especially at club races).

I have a quick question: I'm getting ready to buy a 1/8th scale buggy but don't know which one to buy. Here in Boston we don't have many shops. We only have HobbyTown Quincy, Mass. So I went there and found nothing 8th scale buggy wise. My mission is jump into Nitro racing at the novice/entry level.

So I'm venturing off to the online hobby shops for a kit. I had my eye on the ThunderTiger EB4. from what I heard(word of mouth), that the EB4 is hard to assemble(If you don't have prior knowledge to building kits).

Hunting around I found that AcesHardware hobbies stocks parts for the Eb4. The kit is $489.

Second kit I am looking at is a GS-Storm. I heard good things about this kit, but the parts to find for it are slim to none from HorizonHobbies. But the price is nice @ $429.

The last kit I'm looking at is an OFna 9.5MBX @ only $399 from Aces and they stock the parts.

Can someone offer an opinion on what you did at the entry level of racing?

Thanks for the link uDi. That is officially on my hit list. Where can I read more about that nicely priced Hot body? :^) If your word is bound about the parts being hot swappable with Kyosho, then it will be sure enough win.

Tambok, where can read about that "Swift" kit?

Thanks for the help guys, I'm grateful for it.

Thanks for the link. That Swift kit looks promissing. Only bad part is Parts. I don't see any places to buy the kit or the parts for it.
