I just saw a swift rtr run today. It is really fast, it was putting down some really fast hot lapping records. Its a really good deal, it comes with a mx-3 wiht some quality servos and some carbon fiber. Its basically just a carbon copy of alot of the big name 1/8th scales, but combined and assembled in Hong Kong. It comes with a megatech motor, its not the slow, but once you get used to it it should be gone...

Tambok - you can see a couple of pics on the RCZone forums. It's supposed be a copy, somewhat, of the MBX-5. To me, it looks a little like everything out there (MBX5, 7.5, Storm) but then again every buggy looks like every buggy.

thanks rod,.....when I looked at the picture, one word......DURABILITY....if passes....parts support.

I remember this company sells really cheap Crimefighter copy mounted tires for only $16.00 at KZ Speedway. I think they still have it there at Marvin's Hobby Shop and Speedway ( KZ).

my only concern about the non-mainstream cars is parts availability

and if you dont suceed with it your always going to wonder "would i have done better with the ______?"

if its for bashing though there is no harm done maybe you have to wait a little longer for parts or it breaks a little more often but its not causing you to lose races so no big deal

for me its all about racing and if i aint in the A or at least doing as well as i think my skills will allow its over and no matter the cost im getting something that wont let me down

mugen is crazy durable i only DNF 1 race due to a part on my mbx5 last summer it was a qualifier and my plastic tie-rod end popped off 2 times going over our tracks triple so i pulled the car

Parts are fully available from your LHS. Power racing has every part available for the car. Just make sure that you have the part number and have them order it if they don't have them in stock. Once power racing products recieves the order, it goes out the same day.

Roger,
who are we going to contact to order those swift kits? Marvin's Hobby Shop and Speedway(formerly KZ) might be interested in selling them .

KZ speedway is listed on thier website ( www.powerracingrc.com ). I suppose they can order the kits for you since they are listed as a dealer.
