just picked up a hyper 9e roller and need a brushless setup for it. i run mamba max pro's in my scale crawler and hyper 10sc and dual FXR's in my berg comp rig. i like the castle stuff and the price of the MMM/2200, but ive been eying the RX8 setup.....my question is do i need a 1700 or 1900? i plan to run 5000 4s... not racing yet but would like to this summer. any help would be appreciated

1900 for 4s, with the 1700 ypu would want to run 5s. I run the 2050 and love it most people use the 1900 and say there is a smoother feel to it.

You could consider using the mm pro w/ like a 1300 on 6s.

I run a 1700 on 4s with a 17t and I have no issue's with not having enough top end I can still pull most nitro cars down the strait. MY motor after 20 min of run time on 5100 35c batteries is only 130. It's very smooth and easy to drive. I have no thought of even trying to run 5s, you simply don't need it.

Since my RX8 died last week end , I'll be running that setup (MMP + Tekin 1900 on 4S) till a get the RX8 fixed or maybe longer (the MMP was intended for the Hyper 10SC...)
I ran the MMP in the backyard this evening, back and forth in the grass to stress it a little bit and so far so good. I'll keep an eye on the ESC temps.

I see you are in Kennesaw - plan on going practice/race on the new track in Lilburn (ATL RC SX) ?

hmm, thats tempting to try out. i could always use the MMP in another scaler if it got too hot. castle says it will work with up to 6S, so unless the 1/8 scale motor has that much affect on the temps i dont see why it wouldnt work. anyone care to enlighten me on this?

im going to try to check out that track on saturday

Default what part numbers to make this brace

My own mod seems to help the similar issue. Glad to see someone else noticed the issue I had. Sure helped my car out a bunch with minimal alteration to the buggy. Thanks 2dialed for the update, you really seemed to fix the issue. Great work!
Heres a pic of mine with the awesome Elite RC motor mount.

Could you post some pick of your setup ? Thinking about going that route but I'm wondering about wire routing (under/over the plate ? -SNR's pick of the RX8 setup was just the ESC).
Also, how many attachment point does the plate have to the chassis ? I figure one on each side of the servo, but what about between ESC and battery box and between ESC and motor (basically where the receiver box used to be). Since you mentioned it keeps the structural integrity, there must be something. Are these included with the plate or do I need to cut off the original receiver box ?
Finally, is the plate compatible with the CNC front chassis brace and the original transponder mount ?

Thanks !
