Not happy got my order today from Eric hobby, but the wrong brace I think has come, but I don't understand it's in the right packaging...

The part is 89331, but the part in this package looks like 89128.

Happened to me before - Hobao miss-packing parts..Can't blame Eric for it. Just Email picture to him along with what the correct part would look like and he most likely will send you the right one. Expect to have to send the wrong one back though..
Special-rc on Ebay is indeed also another good source for parts.

Universal Steel Center Drive Shaft

OFNA part #29339
HOBAO part #89339
If you have an aluminium one.
+ Tekno side guards
+ Front braces (chassis and top)
+ 2 pieces rear wing
+ T Bone Racing front bumper
My suggestions.

i have notice that my center diff is touching on the motor mount maybe, so is better to buy rear cnc brace too, correct?
i have also read on this thread some homemade chassis braces for the rear that looks easy to make...
so maybe a good solution too do you agree?
greetings and thankīs my friend!

Had a new clear body arrived but it has no nose cone? Are they bought seperate? Or is it missing? Getting well fed up @ the minute.

today i try a thing on my 9e and the result seems amazing.
some photos:

with spare parts from other cars i drill a hole on the esc plate and secure this homemade chassis brace.
i have bend or curve the chassis several times without electronics and battery tray and it curves alot, and after with the brace is incredible because almost zero flexing....
i think i will run my 9e without cnc braces and with this brace and see if center shaft holds ok and if center diff donīt touch again on motor mount ....
it is simple to make and more people here on this thread have try that!!
it is certain that the buggy handling will be alot rigid but i have to test it first to see difference on handling..
greetings

NICE !!!
This should prevent the center drive shaft to absorb all the shocks, especially jumps landed directly on the front of the buggy .
Some say the steel drive shaft also fix this problem by being less long thus allowing the chassis to absorb the shock, instead of the dog bone.
At my first race, on an international race track with big jumps, I bent 3 aluminium shafts ;-(
Next day I ordered the steel one.
Let us know,

Let us know,
i run it yesterday and jump very hard to see if it bends the shaft and no problem...
i will buy the stee drive shaft at same because my stock one it flexes or bends a littlle at mid and top speed but that is maybe because i run a 4060 2700kv leopard at 4s with 15t pinion... but aside that is a solution for the shaft problem and for center diff that also flex when chassis flex...
even with cnc rear diff plate you will have flexing issues....
remember hyper 9 nitro version and all other buggys have a rear chassis brace direct to the chassis... even tekno eb48 that have center diff on same area near rear shock tower have chassi brace...
so is a flaw hyper 9e donīt come stock with one..
