Howdy !! What clay you talkin about ...Jerseys clay or booremans clay ? If Jerseys..i would throw some barcodes on that 9E green compound most likely.
Booremans i would run Double Dees, Impacts or Hybrids

Ok guys. I have real racing weekend behind me with 9E.
I had a few bad landings on our new, never driven track, two times broke my front lower arms (left/right) and it was clearly my fault.
Like I predicted, weakest point of this car is rear tower/wing stay which is not suported with brace. In first final I push too hard and broke rear bulkhead. Two tims also lost the screws from wing stay/bulkhead. After few landings on wing, rear tower start to move and screws just fall out.
Axles also bent easily.
The car is for sure not so bulletproof like 8.5 PRO and ST PRO was.
9E got loots of steering (it's a bit sensitive for me, I need to work with) and incredible turn in. 180 degree tight corners takes like any other car on track.
And of course, one side of rear diff still leak, with new case, drive cup's, and shim mod or maybe

Anyone still running this buggy??
I bought one used and was told this was the only mod done to it by the seller:

" i took the long diff case screws out of the back of the rear diff case and drilled 2 holes through the bumper to help hold the hinge pins in better. I haven't had a problem with them since and i recommend doing this again if the rear bumper ever needs replacing. I did buy this new and raced it for a season and a half. Its the Version with the updated B rear suspension components"

Everything is pretty much stock.
I have a RX8 and 1900kV motor, no servo or battery yet, plan to run a 4s.
What pinion do you guys recommend?
How is the buggy's performance(stock), when raced against the newer AE, Losi, Kyosho stuff? (Besides driver skill)

I'm still running mine. Same basic setup as yours. I think I'm on a 15 or 16 tooth pinion for a somewhat small track.

I can keep up just fine with the guys running newer buggies...when I don't do something stupid. Unfortunately that's somewhat rare.
