changing the shock oil to 40-60wt range with gray stock springs
with some bump stops prevent you from bending dogbones ever again

Those fit fine. I was running one until I went to an ip5400 to get a little more run time. Still kept the hobbyking as a spare for now though.

How much run time were you getting on that Turnigy before you switched?

I tried using PC rubber dampners for fans and fuel tubing, but this really doesn't do too much, found the oil dampening to work best, least on this car

Do you mean the thicker oil worked best to save the dogbones?

In my opinion, yes, as I have only bent one and hammered it back straight
and it still is working

You should not need them. But you should double check to make sure that the dog bones don't reach their max angle before the shock bottoms out.

Anything over 40wt oil in the shocks is too thick for racing. The stock grey springs are also too stiff for racing. Try the blues or the whit

Did you drill out the pistons like it shows in that nitrohouse setup?

I run the jammin 16mm shocks, so my shock setup is different. But if you plan on racing I would start with the setup from Nitrohouse.

This depends on your shock angles
