I think that being that most of the people that are getting into the hobby now are new, they just understand BL set-up's as to them that is the standard, but if they were asked about a brushed set-up they wouldn't have a clue. If you think of it 2 years ago most of use were running brushed motors yet, and then being that most of the people on this forum are racers they were all trying to understand the new set-up's. So 2 years ago the standard was burshed set-up's, and even Ni-Mh (does anyone really use those batteries anymore ), and being that the BL set-up's were the big thing in the hobby most of the questions were asked about them.

If you think about it that way, the slash is the big thing in the hobby right now, so most of the questions or threads are about the slash.

I can remember just about everyone saying they would keep there brushed motors, and that lipos were gernades wating to go off.

Now brushes ??? arent those used for paint
