Most bodies you buy come with stickers of the windows that you put on the window when painting. Then when you are done you just peal it off and you have see threw windows.

Default window masking

I used the window mask's that came with the body, worked real sweet, also used water based paint(real easy to use! After I coated under neath with art masking spray to keep it from scraping off. Just thought some one could use the tips.

Not bad for your 2nd paint job, but it looks quite plain to me Put some stickers on it or something, the side doors don't have any design on them. It's a pain using mask, but once you learn how you can make more complex designs You could have done the carbon fiber effect as well.

I'm a fan of keeping the Slash trucks looking like race trucks. I think they should all try to look like imitation race trucks even if the team is made up. I just finished my new body this weekend and it is a Wahoo's Fish Taco's inspired truck. I need to get some pics of it up.

Looks nice. Did you use an airbrush? What brand of water based paint? I am going to buy an airbrush soon to paint my next body and use water based paint as well so i am just curious about the details on yours.

I did use an air brush ( a cheap one) the trick is layers and a hair dryer best to work from dark to light colors , I used faskolor (with pearl) also I didnt use it but I would recommend fine line masking tape!

I have recently added decals , no pics yet , want the paint to stand out not the decals!!!!

paint a better design next time then I would even incorporate window "trim" next time.

Here is an example , to make skulls you simply make stencils and gradually shape them up from dark to light.
