Default Slash Sunday out door racing!!@ Rcmadness

So the the season begins, Out door off road racing starts this sunday. The Traxxas slash has become the class to race at Rc madness friday nights. Now that the out door track is ready i encourage you to show up sunday for racing it will be a blast! today and yestarday i was out at the track because i couldn't wait for sunday. I have a all stock slash except for the lipo i run in it, which most people run anyway. Theres no need to go buy a bunch of upgrades for the slash because it will handle fine in the dirt as it is, but keep in mind it is 2 wheel drive we are talking about. Its so fun to whip the truck around the track and for a stock slash with stock tires even when the track was dusty i had more traction on the dirt than excpected but it was a little slippery at times. So for all the Friday night drivers take that slash out side and have a fun filled Sunday afternoon. Theres a nice double to double and as long as you have a good line you have a chance at clearing it, also some you have to roll over and coming over the jump on to the straight just gun it, the slash will make it over no problem. Can't wait hope theres a nice class sunday, will you be there?????? I will

Gonna have to wait and see, work fairly well in my yard, will probably bring the stock ones with me, if I don't get enough grip with the Switches.

Should work a lot better though, much larger contact area, with the VXL on stock tires, I get a lot of torque steer, with the Switches, almost none.

What are the rules (do you have a link to them on the website)?

I wouldn't want to show up and find out my truck is illegal.

hey, im sure no one will have a problem with your truck and if there was a problem then they would have different classes. Its a local club race and normally no one would give you a hard time about your truck, it is slash we are talking about not touring car. so don't worry its all about fun at rc madness.

Slash Spec - All stock, 6-7 cell NiMh, 2S LiPo. Can have aluminum shock caps, maybe (MAYBE) new hubs if you ask Chris if you can run them.

Slash Mod - Anything goes, as long as it has the same basic set-up, i.e. no Slash body on a buggy.

Those were the indoor rules, maybe they are the same for outdoors.

Charging up my LiPo for the first time, see how it runs.
Don't know if I'll be up at all, my dad's sick and if I try and ge to Enfield I'll get really lost.

Hopefully soon though.
