4S or 5S in 8ight 2.0 Buggy
I'm currently running a zippy 5S 5000 20C, it is awesome, 25-30 minute run time but i want to know if i am missing out on some handeling and big jump landing ability by not running a lighter 4S
also how much more power or run time do you get out of more well known batteries than a zippy?
thanks

What brushless setup are you running? 4S comes in a variety of sizes and weights. Depending on your setup, I think you should move onto a 30C+ pack. I notice a bit more punch from my 4S Zippy 30C's than I do with my Thunder Power 25C packs. Not only that, your battery would run cooler. 20C, in my opinion, is the absolute minimum...

well it's 20 constant, 30 burst
i have Mamba Monster with 2200 motor
i just wonder if i went to a 4S instead of a 5S would i notice a great improvement in the buggys ability to turn and land jumps...
i know there are different weights in 4S batterys but i would be going from a 5S 5000 to a 4S 5000, one that would be 1 cell lighter

4s 5000 = 5s 4000 = 6s 3300. These batteries all weigh about the same but the higher voltage ones typically will yield a little bit better run time.
The 2200 motor is really a 4s motor though. 5s should be run on a 2000kv or less if you are primarily racing.
