Default Good Lipo for 8ight 2.0

Hey,

I am looking for a good Lipo for my 8ight 2.0 for racing in the upcoming season. I am wanting to get 15 minutes of run time minimum. I am thinking I was a 4S 5000mah Lipo but am unsure if that will give me 15 minutes of run time on a track.

How is the Losi 4s 5000mah hard case Lipo?

Is there any batteries you would recommend? I don't mind spending money for a good battery, but don't want to spend just stupid amounts of money.

Do you mind posting your setups with run times and Batteries.

And if you can please post links to websites so I see and purchase the battery.

Thanks

if you need guarenteed 15 minutes regardless of track conditions / changes on 4S, I found the PolyRC PQ6000XP 25C 4S pack works well, goes for about $185 shipped from www.rclipos.com . He ships worldwide for free. THis pack is a long style one.

I think SMC's new 5400mah pack could be a winner too in the runtime department especially. should be out soon.

The 6500mah should give plenty of runtime for 15 minutes as well. guy here runs this 4S pack and it works really well.

Neumotors has good packs, good prices and some can support 5c charging. Highly recommended by many who have been in 8th scale for a while and that includes me.

Default in my 8ight 2.0 Buggy

i have a zippy 5S 5000 20C and i get 25-30 minutes bashing around a track so not full out hard running

so far i really like it but this is my first lipo, maybe a more name brand one would out perform this one i don't know

i know this one is insanely fast

does anyone know how much better running a 4S would be as far as handleing and landing jumps since it would be lighter? i'm thinking about getting a 4S

thanks
