Default Lipos and e-revo

Does anyone know if the hard cased lipos with the power leads comeing out the top will fit in the e-revo battery compartments? I want to buy a pair but want to make sure they will fit. Thanks!

I just got a pr of hard cased and they are small - about size of a 6 cell shotgun pack. Mine measure 25mm x 137mm x 46mm. They even fit in my 3906 Emaxx batt tray.

ERevo batt compartment supposed to allow batts up to 30mm x 160 x 51mm -

So even after you put the banana clips in the top they still fit?

On these Intellects, the banana plug sticks up an additional 4mm. Where the plugs are located, that part of the batt is reduced in thickness and the diff is taken off the top surface. I put 12ga wet noodle on for wiring and that would have to be squeezed in to fit. Smaller gage wire wouldn't be quite the prob.

I know you can get the bigger plugs (5.5 and 6mm) with a hole in the side for soldering connection at 90degrees. These that came with mine didn't have that, but that doesn't mean they're not available or you couldn't drill your own holes to make 90degree solder connection.

If other hard cased lipos don't have this recessed area where the banana plugs are, these will be too tall across the plugs to fit.
